This is a new ad from Michael Bloomberg’s group Everytown for Gun Safety, which asks “will you stop this?”

Call me crazy, but the only thing I found myself saying after I watched that was “If only there had been some way that poor woman could have defended herself!” A naive, knee-jerk reaction no doubt.
Meanwhile, Michael Bloomberg and his anti-gun team want everybody to believe the only way to prevent the horrible scenario depicted above is to keep potential victims unarmed and hope unhinged maniacs obey additional redundant laws.
You might have noticed, however, that Bloomberg & company aren’t nearly as confident in the effectiveness of the same approach when it comes to their own personal protection.
